An idea and its execution
On our travels through Europe we have always had wonderful experiences with overnight stays in "Bed & Breakfast".
You can only be so close to the people, the culture, the traditions and the beauties of the landscape and nature in small, family-run houses.
England and Ireland particularly impressed and inspired us with their traditional and loving overnight accommodations.
So the idea of running your own "Bed & Breakfast" grew and matured. Our large garden plot offered itself as the ideal place to run a hotel according to our ideas.
Since spring 2013, happy guests from all over the world have been staying at the
Haus Kallenberg Bed & Breakfast.
Our goal
It is our aim to pamper you in our small guesthouse a bit like in England with cozy hospitality, nice conversations and small delicacies. Life in the country offers many impressions, tranquility and enjoyment. The breakfast, the garden and the Eselsburger valley invite you to linger and enjoy. All senses are stimulated here. Dream on the terrace or in the garden with a glass of wine. Watch the birds and deer on the meadow across from our property or take a walk in the vicinity of Haus Kallenberg.
Your hosts - Claudia and Jens Kallenberg
As a chemistry laboratory assistant, Claudia has studied fragrances and natural cosmetics for many years. She loves life in the country and in nature. Thanks to her great love for the forest, she has successfully completed an apprenticeship as a course leader for forest bathing.
The large English garden, the house and the care of the guests are her area. The gardens, the catering with cooking, baking and service, the design of the rooms and the decorations in Haus Kallenberg bear her special signature.
Jens has a doctorate in mechanical engineering, is technically well-versed and always finds a solution to tricky problems. He takes care of everything “technical” in and around the pension. He is also happy to be the host and by the fire in the garden talks to his guests about whiskey, the country and its people, travel and the meaning of life.
