The property in Herbrechtingen
The desire to build our own B&B had a long time to mature. When we were finally able to acquire the beautiful neighboring property after 3 years of waiting and hoping, we put our ideas and our dream into practice with great enthusiasm, the necessary imagination and a lot of perseverance. The result is a very modern and comfortable hotel with cozy rooms, stylish interiors and a bit of playfulness.
There is something for every taste.
The first impression - our front gardens
The borders and parking lot borders in front of our guest house were designed with large, wild limestones, between which, depending on the season, hundreds of tulips and daffodils, roses and summer shrubs, rhododendrons and hydrangeas vie for your favor.
The garden landscape - our idyll
By connecting the two properties, a garden area of 2600m² was created. The bed & breakfast and the private garden with the house of Claudia & Jens are now located there. Some of the wonderful old apple trees were saved and integrated into the new garden concept despite the major construction work. There is no longer any separation between the two large garden areas and so they can flow into one another.
The English rose garden
In English gardens, ornamental gardens and orchards have been connected to each other for centuries and so roses grow next to pumpkin and chard, the apple trees and hazelnut hedges provide shade for the many shrubs and peach and pear trees grow on the sun-warmed stone walls.
The southern slope - Mediterranean feelings
Resting points and lines of sight, seats and terraces, English rose hedges and scented gardens, various grapevines and peach trees, palm trees and olives, the garden around Haus Kallenberg offers all of this.
The hillside location - our rock gardens
Rock gardens are predestined for warm, sunny and dry slopes. Our coral limestone cliffs from the Jura offer alpine and Mediterranean plants as well as many lizards and insects a wonderful habitat.
The pond landscape - our ornamental ponds
The various ponds and streams on the property with their water lilies, fish and newts, frogs and dragonflies invite you to linger, watch and relax.
Refuges for all of our guests
The breakfast room
Enter our breakfast room with its clear lines, the modern furniture and the chic lighting and come into a light-flooded room. When the fire is burning in the stove in the morning, the comfortable armchairs in front of the panorama window invite you to observe nature at any time of the year. Enjoy both in peace and quiet, perhaps with a glass of sparkling wine and a nice magazine before or after your breakfast.
The little seat in the roof — our library
For reading or choosing books, magazines and music CDs, we have made a small area in the attic into our library. We have set up this reading corner for you in a quiet, friendly and cozy atmosphere.
Our small wellness area
The infrared sauna in the roof? Yes, why not? There is a special attraction in resting under the sloping roof on a comfortable lounger after the sauna with colored light therapy and watching the stars through the large skylight window. The calming colors of the room contribute just as much to the pampering program as the large shower area, the soft towels and the fragrant cosmetics.
The seats in the garden
Claudia's profession is garden design. The gardens should become tangible and so many beautiful seats have been created. Benches, armchairs and a swing are under the plum tree, the hazelnut hedge and, most recently, under our large hanging willow.
Small terraces invite you to sunbathe - idyllic refuges for relaxation and recreation for guests.
Our room for your party
Our pretty, small hall can also be used for festivities such as weddings or your family get-togethers, for drawing, yoga and a variety of other courses. Talk to us about a catering provider we will be happy to advise you.
